Canceled registration for events requiring payment will result in a credit to your account. Credited funds remain available in your account for the remainder of the current membership year, if unused these funds are forfeited. Credits cannot be applied to membership renewal fees. You can view your credit balance at any time in the "Payment/Credit History" section of your membership profile.

Diya Decorating

October 30, 2020

Families ushered in the "Festival of Lights" by decorating their own diyas (clay lamps) at home. BPC provided diya decorating kits, that included diyas, decorating supplies and instructions. They celebrating their creativity by sharing photos of their finished clay lamps.

First Time Parents Park Meet Up

October 21, 2020

First time mamas joined at San Mateo's Central Park for a socially distanced meet-up while enjoying a cup of Philz coffee. Members had the opportunity to meet other first-time parents. They loved sharing advice, stories, and challenges of first year parenting.

Halloween Pumpkin Patch

Our annual pumpkin patch is always a hit with BPC families, and this year's event continued to be a hit. We had a great turnout at ABC Tree Pumpkin Patch, where families dressed in their halloween best. Kids took home a goodie bag, free mini pumpkin, and a professional family photo

Halloween Boos

October 1-15, 2020

Children had the opportunity to do a fun halloween craft project — make a Boo sign, write a note, and give a fun Halloween treat to another kid and get one in return! Participants were matched with families by neighborhood. They delivered (porch drop-off) the "You've been Boo'd” signs with a treat - either candy, bubbles, coloring book, craft, etc. It was a fun way to safely get in the spirit and celebrate the holiday.


Barre Class in Central Park

Barre3 led the full-body workout class in San Mateo's Central Park. The class combined strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness to leave parents feeling balanced in body and empowered from within.

Stroller Walk at Crystal Springs

October 6, 2020

Parents had the chance to mingle and enjoy a gentle walk along the beautiful Sawyer Camp Trail at Crystal Springs Reservoir. The beautiful 1.0 mile route was completely paved and stroller friendly.

Coastal Cleanup

September 26, 2020

38 members joined the Coastal Cleanup Crew on a beautiful morning. While practicing safe social distancing, everyone was excited to help our community. Parents brought along little ones to learn valuable lessons and get plenty of exercise for the best nap day. All our hard working families had a great time and made our annual beach cleanup a success!

Scavenger Hunt

September 12, 2020

Smoke and bad air quality can't stop the fun! After rescheduling and reformatting the event to be 'drive-through', families still enjoyed our scavenger hunt. The event showcased the kids favorite characters; from Thomas the Train... to Brown Bear, Brown Bear... to Dr. Seuss. Kids and parents loved the decor and solving the clues.

Flower Arranging Class

August 9, 2020

It was a lovely day for flower arranging with the BPC Board. The group socially distanced in Washington Park, to learn how to make beautiful bouquets. It was a great way to mentally decompress and recharge from the week.

Summer Social "Beaches and Boardwalk"

September 1, 2018

Our BPC family enjoyed a beautiful day in Cuernevaca Park. We had plenty of boardwalk treats; popcorn, churros, corn dogs, pretzel bites, and gelato from SF Gelateria. Kids were entertained with a magic show from Betty Buttons the Clown. Tattoo painting, games, balloons, bubbles, and a playground kept kids/parents smiling from ear to ear. Thanks to all who brought donations for CORA and Loved Twice!

BPC Ride Class at LIFT Exercise

August 19, 2018

BPC hosted a fun Bike ride at LIFT Excersice Studio in San Mateo. The group jumped on the LIFT bikes and were taken on a fun and energetic ride led by LIFT instructor and BPC member Amy Walden. Amy took us on a ride where we climbed, ran and turned it up on our bikes as we sweated and danced our way to a better and LIFTED day.

First Time Moms Park Playdate

First time moms had a fun time during Picnic at the Park on August 15. This was our first kick-off event of the year! Thank you to those who came and we look forward to our next event in September!

Summer Luau

August 27, 2017 

The kiddos enjoyed singing/playing with Moana, yummy shave ice, spam musubis, seaweed snacks, + making awesome Tamatoa shinny shells. Oh, we mustn't forget the incredible Karen at Revolution for providing goodie bags and yummy healthy treats! A BIG MAHALO to the companies that generously donated to this event: Revolution Foods, Smash Mallow snacks, Kona Shaved Ice, and Ocean's Halo.

8th Annual BPC Flea

March 26, 2017 

We had 22 vendors selling everything from newborn clothes, strollers, toys, and maternity clothes - to fitness passes. Families were lined up, even before doors opened, to get great deals on the hot items. Items not sold were donated to Parca. We raised over $2000 dollars for the following charities: Able Closet, Home and Hope, and CORA. Special thanks to the Helping Hands Team for organizing the event.
